Dennis Clark is a 12th generation Texan, born in Pasadena, Texas. He has lived his entire life within fifteen miles of the San Jacinto Battlefield outside of Houston. He holds a degree in history from San Jacinto Jr. College in Pasadena, Texas and a degree in History and Political Science from the University of Houston (1976). He taught history and government in the Houston area for twenty-five years before employment as a paralegal for ten years in an intellectual property law firm in Houston. He has been a practicing professional parliamentarian for nearly fifty years. Dennis has travelled widely around Texas, and all the other 49 states, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Europe. This is his first book about history.
